Working my way through Pitchfork's Top 200 of the decade: Radiohead - Kid A

Posted over 2 years ago

The new Mog radio is my favorite present to myself this xmas. Now that I have access to a lot of the music I've missed for lack of effort. So now I'm gonna work my way through Pitchfork's top 200 albums of the last decade to see if there's anything I've missed. First up:

Radiohead - Kid A

I own this album. I'm not a die hard Radiohead fan and to me this album was always one of the also haves of their catalog despite my affinity for electronic music. So this was more of a return than a discovery. Overall its still a solid album and does hold up over time. In fact, I'd say its a better album now than when it came out. Maybe it needed to prove its worth or show its staying power but listening to it now doesn't remind me of listening to it back then. It has some great melodies and memorable hooks - if you're inclined to hear them.
