So I've been going to a local Blues and Jazz bar lately. Either on Tuesday or Thursday nights. Always by myself, though. Just to grab a few beers and listen to the live music and meet some new people. I enjoy it, kind of my getaway from the Blues of my house. And I've really learned to love Jazz in doing this. So I ask this question... is it kinda creepy that I go by myself? I don't go to pick up girls or anything like that... its just that I'm drawn to the atmosphere there. Good beer, good music and good cigarettes. I'm relaxed, and I get in this state of mind where I think about shit, deep shit. And none of my friends in T-town want to go, mainly because they work their asses off so much during the week that they don't want to go out on a weeknight. I have one friend who is supposed to be going with me this weekend, so that should be fun. But anyways... just wondering about those kind of things.

DannonL says I don't think it's creepy. It might be creepy if you were going to a Barry Manilow concert alone... not Jazz. Being alone is a better atmosphere to meet new people.

nik3787 says Yeah, I think Sparky is just jealous that I can go to Willy's without her... but that problem will have an easy solution on Friday night... Good, I'm glad that at least one person doesn't think it borders on the edge of Creepiness. I have met a lot of new people... so that's cool.... thanks for the comments...

gijibae03 says ^ ouch! and there's the double standard. ;) sometimes i check out music w/o a crew, and it's fine. it's only weird if i dwell on it, but then again, it's more socially acceptable here... or i make it so. :)
