My roommate told me not to sing this song

My daily commute consist of 15 minutes of the best 97.1 has to offer in Atlanta. They usually rotate in new (old) songs and then play them for a while. A recent play was a Three Dogs Night song that I couldn't credit to them. I know Joy to the World and even saw One Dog Night (Danny Hutton) in concert when I was little.When Mama Told Me (Not To Come) the high pitched energetic song brought out my falsetto car singing catastrophe (I'm a bass). Anyways, I've learn to appreciate the song and have lowered my voice to give more credit to a great American rock band.
