The New Orleans Jazzfest was my first exposure to southern Baptist gospel and it was nothing short of a religious experience. It was the most passionate and energetic music performance I'd ever seen.

A couple of my favorites were The Johnson Extension and Rev. Jermaine Landrum and Ebenezer Baptist Church Choir. More on this later, however, here's a taste of the Rev. Jermaine Landrum.
