1982 - 1983 - Don't Pay The Guy In The Grim Reaper Outfit - SOML Post 17

Alright, so I watched a LOT of MTV in the early 1980's. As opposed to having any one specific memory for the next few posts, I simply have an aggregate glob of MTV tar blotched on my brain. The doctors thought it was a tumor, but...Anyway, like it or not, these songs affected me. And sometimes, in my cheesiest moments, they come out. I can never forget the pretentious pipings of Chris de Burgh in this over-the-top "art is too serious for YOU" video "Don't Pay The Ferryman". At the time, I really thought it was cool. The darkness and, you know, like, the way he sang and stuff. So here it is.I am following quickly with a number of other influential videos from the era.Peace,D
