This is the new video for 'Jacket' by David Vandervelde who gives us some Ziggy-era Bowie rock minus the glam. This guy wears his 70s rock influences on his sleeve. Bowie, T-rex, ELO, you can hear it all in his music and with his new album 'The Moonstation House Band' he has really done his homework. Its a solid album and is already a contender for album of the year. Beleive the Hype on this one!

Heres some electro goodness from Metronomy, one of the best electro band around at the moment. This track is called 'Trick or Treatz' and is from their 2005 relatively ignored album 'Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe)'. This band is going to exploded this year, i can feel it! Watch out Hot Chip!

At the moment i cant stop listening to 'Myth Takes' by !!!. The new album is so amazing. Its the follow up to their now classic album 'Louden Up Now' and is every bit as good.
