All that is and isn't: Tom Freund

OK, i admit it. I'm a jazz head. That term came from my wife - who's into rock, punk and pop (and a whole lot more). Throughout the course of our reltaionship we had the joy of being able to turn eachother on to ridiculous amounts of great music. What I learned were things like the Talking Heads, Television, Bowie, etc. (I can't say what she learned...!). But together we got discover many artisits, like this week's song of the week by Tom Freund, singer songwriter from LA. We were first introduced to Tom at a local performance space. I won't bore you with more details, but Tom came back to said local venue, and I got to play this song with him at soundcheck - a real treat for me.

This is the title track from "Copper Moon", his 2003 release. Lotsa great songs on this record, but I love this tune.
