this thursday I finally got the chance to attend a Sigur Ros show...and to my surprise it might have been the best show i have attended in awhile. They played a 13 song set beginning with Svefn g Englar , a 10-11 minute song of full of great sound effects and minimal lighting. As the night progressed the music got much better however the crowd seemed out of it...very little response from the audience.The band tried reviving the audience by asking them to clap along goobleigook, the last song of the night but again very little response...ill admit though that song was a letdown. They came out for an encore and sang a song they had never previously performed to which i dont know the name and Popplalid which was easily the best song of the whole night,so much energy from the band... but yeah overall a great experience for a more appreciative crowd.

Lucky sod...I nearly saw them myself, but alas, I failed tragically.
Never got unappreciative crowds (to good shows that is)...go home, lay on your sofa, get drunk in your knickers & let the passionate ones flood the venue.
