We were at Ralphs, our local grocery store, shopping last night when this Paul McCartney song came on the store radio station. It's been ages since I've heard this one from Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.
At the time, Chaos was Paul's comeback album. His last few weren't very popular so he got together with Nigel Godrich. Godrich stripped Macca with sparse production whilst Paul played most of the instruments a-la his first solo album McCartney.
There's an energy and resurrected feel to Chaos that had been missing from Paul McCartney. Mostly because Nigel stood up and fought with Paul. Many producers are intimated by Sir Paul but not Nigel which is one of the reasons George Martin suggested that Macca work with him. The challenge did wonders for his creative output. I hope that Paul and Nigel work together again.
Fine Line is such an uplifting song. It so fits my mood of joy that i've been feeling recently since moving into our new place. I can't get enough of this song. I keep on playing it over and over again.

...and i DO see the point you are making...that he resurrected an energy to McCartney's music. I like this Chaos song. It's def. upbeat.
