There's a massive heatwave hitting SoCal. It was a 115 degrees yesterday and today it topped 106 in Pasadena. We're moving to our new place in Monrovia by the 4th of July, I hope it's going to cool down before then.
I had to pick this Cure song to match the heat that's outside. We've been chilling inside all day long. I watched The Cubs come back and beat the south-siders Sox with a walk off homer by Aramis Rameriz while switching back and forth to Euro Cup 2008 game between Coratia and Turkey. It went to Penalty Kicks. Turkey won in dramatic fashion after tying the game on a last second goal in the second half of extra overtime.
Michelle and I went to get her oil changed, filled up her gas tank and went to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Pasadena, El Portal. We stopped by Target and came home for some desert.
It was a very hot yet enjoyable day. I am counting down the days till I move out of the dungeon. My current room is in the basement without windows and most days I feel like a vampire. It's going to be a relief to wake up to mi amor and sunlight.
