in the air tonight

I've had In the Air Tonight floating in my head all week long. It's been ages since I've heard a Phil Collins song. It brings me back to my sophmore days in high school. Growing up we were huge Genesis and Phil Collins fans. I used to have all of his solo albums and mi hermano had all of Genesis' LP's.

We were also huge fans of the original Miami Vice TV series and remember when In the Air Tonight played in the penultimate scene of the pilot episode.

I also heard In the Air Tonight on the radio after midnight on the way home from the "day job." It's been everywhere, even on an episode of Poltergeist themed Family Guy when Stewie gets sucked inside the TV. he starts singing the lyrics to In the Air Tonight.

Phil Collins song also made into a Cd mix I'm compiling for Michelle's brother Jamie and his wife Claudia as a X-mas gift. I was the one who put together nine volumes of songs for their wedding music to dance to as bride and groom. They're still thanking me for those CD's. I figure since they seem to like my mixes, just like the holiday themes one I made them last year, why not make them another one.

Jamie and Claudia are big fans of 60's, 70's and 80's music. I'm adding In the Air Tonight, I hope that they're gonna dig this mix like the other ones. Jamie has a long commute from work in Baskersfield to their casa in Valenica. I wanted to make an uninterrupted mix so he can jam to on the way home during rush hour traffic.

And Claudia seems to be highjacking all the mixes so this time I'm making two copies one for each of their cars so Jamie can have at least one copy for his drive home.

Anyone making any cd mixes as X-mas gifts, this year?
