We have a new tradition here at our house on Sunday night, Michelle invites her friend Wendy over, we cook dinner and watch True Blood. It's kind of funny when True Blood first started I was the only one who was into the show. After I kept on raving about it, one day while I was at work, Michelle and Wendy got hooked watching True Blood ondemand.
So now we watch it, kind of like a viewing party, make it an event, with dinner, treats and all. It's one helluva show. It's a series adapted by Alan Ball, so if you were a fan of Six Feet Under you will love True Blood.
Last night we were watching, towards the end of the episode when Sookie's with Bill a song comes on. Michelle turns to me and says "Baby, that's Cat Power." It totally was, she caught it first, she has quite the music ear. The song was Half of You. Watching that scene it was as if Half of You was made for that moment between Sookie and and Bill. Just like Alan Ball did with Six Feet Under he chooses the best music for his episodes.
