After listening to the alternate take of Most of the Time from Tell Tale Signs, I went back to the original Bootleg Volume 2 and was struck on how much i prefer this outtake version of Idiot Wind to the original on Blood on the Tracks. It connects with me today.
Leave it to the Bob Dylan to reflect the emotions of how I feel this morning. This is why the Minnesota Bard is the greatest living singer/songwriter in our history. The man's hurt and been hurt and sings the truth with poetic rhymes of beautiful honest that I can relate today.
Thank you Bob for yr words this morning, I am in yr debt.
"You'd never know it to look at him, but at the final shot he won the war
After losin' every battle"
