Today was a crap day. I just got this flu bug that's going around. They shut off the water, again, in my building while I was getting sick. Even though I was ill I made mi novia breakfast before she went to work, I was off today.
When she came home I had dinner ready with fresh cut fruit salad. She had a long day at work and I wanted to have food for her when she walked in the door.
My baby arrived from work today with a surprise for me, a gift of Nina Simone's new four disc (3 CD/1 DVD) collection called To Be Free. Wow, it's a beautiful present.
We had a quiet dinner, after this long and trying day, we're having a very blissful night together.
Now Nina Simone is serenading us. I'm feeling better. Life is good.
