True Blood in my eyes for you

I just finished watching the first episode of True Blood, the new series from Six Feet Under mastermind/creator Alan Ball. I must admit that at first I wasn't looking forward to a vampire themed series. With all the hype about vampires in pop culture now a days this seemed like just another one in the multi-mass media obsessions with blood suckers. But I was wrong. How could I doubt the greatness of Alan Ball?
There are so many stellar moments in the first episode. I felt like we just were introduced to a new subculture. I love the idea of vampires as symbols for immigrants and social outcasts trying to get respect and rights in modern day society.
My only complaint was the music. One of my favorite aspects from Six Feet Under was the use of music to enhance the mood and themes of the shows. I know that Ball and his Blood will find it's way. For now, I do have three suggestions to add to future soundtrack of True Blood.
Since True Blood is set in Louisiana swamps, what if we start off an episode with this acoustic Dylan song?

i think i prefer my vampires in movies made decades before this one. however, i'm extremely intrigued that the Six Feet Under folk are behind this one-too bad I don't have HBO.
