Last night I this very bizarre and funny dream. I dreamt that I went back to this old record shop that I used to work in San Antonio, called Apple Records. As I walked in and went to the New Release section, I heard a voice that was so familiar. It was Morrissey. It was him. He was wearing this very baggy blue Morrissey Viva Hate t-shirt. I turned to him and we just started talking.
I remember saying to Moz that I used to be very awkward teen who felt ugly and was always shy. Then I said something like this "But because y're music I now feel like I'm good looking." He blushed and tried to laugh off the suggestion. He was very sweet. I've heard that nowadays he's very nice and supportive to his fans.
As he was walking out, I also recall asking him about his new album. He seemed aloof and evasive like he didn't want to talk about it. Then I woke up laughing. I turned to M and told her about it.
Here's one of my favorite Morrissey outtakes. "I know very well how I got my name" wrong has the funniest ending, as Vini Reily hitting the wrong note, both he and Moz break up laughing.
