I've been in an Elliott Smith mood this afternoon, listening to loads of his outtakes and alternate versions of Elliott's songs that I have in my mp3 files. Michelle and I have been talking about where we want to go to vacation. Our dream is to go to England. But with our awesome trip to Italy and moving expenses that vacation is at least two years away.
Talking of England has me playing this acoustic version of "Baby Britain" on repeat. Like I've said many times before, if you strip a song down to the core and if it still sounds memorable than you have yr self a timeless cut. This is one of those songs. Elliott's got so many of them. Today this acoustic version of "Baby Britain" is my favorite.
