I've been thinking about my favorite duets since my last post and that Q Magazine article. I've been finishing up my write-ups to my contributions to Treble's Best of 90's albums. One of the artist that I was chosen to write about was Morrissey. Interlude was his duet with Siouxsie that was supposed to be on Vauxhall and I. Moz and Siouxsie had a falling out and it eventually got designated for a single release in the UK. It has never been officially released in the U.S. Just you wait, someday Intelude will appear on a compilation in the States. I know it was on the first UK Greatest Hits.
I love the way Moz and Siouxsie's voice blend together in this song. This is one of the best rarely heard songs that Morrissey has ever recorded. It's a classic duet. One of my favorites. Beautiful and timeless.
