MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

(19)

For the second installment of Vintage B-sides/Outtake Classics is the one of the holy grail for Jeff Buckley fans. Finally released on the Legacy Edition of Grace, Forget Her is the song that was destined to be on the original release of Grace but dropped by Buckley. Why you ask? You see before Buckley had the fear that Sony would try to market him as a balladeer. Especially after The NY Times reviewed Live at Sin-e with a Michael Bolton album, he didn't want to be lumped with Bolton? Who would? In Buckley's mind, Forget Her was a song in that same vain. I don't hear it. My guess is that Bolton would sell his soul and both of his nuts to write and record a song as timelessly beautiful as Forget Her.

And for all you Buckley die hards, here's a special treat, Forget Her (Alternate Take): http://www.sendspace.com/file/f3ncyo
