Watching the last episode of last seasons Weeds, I was struck about how much my life had changed. Seeing Nancy react to all the craziness in her life I understood her pain. This happens to most of us. That used to be my life. Now I am proactive instead of being reactive. It's a whole new mindset and healthier way of living. Because just reacting to events in yr life as I have experienced drains you. It's like you never have a moment to breathe in between crisis's. But if you find away of taking control of yr own destiny than you will see that there is hope and light at the end of yr tunnel. It may sound too simplistic but to me it all starts with a belief and having the faith that all will work out in the end.

My favorite part of this scene is discovering this new band State Radio. The singer sounds like Pete Yorn. "Keepsake" perfectly matches the emotional state of Nancy as she prepares to symbolically set her past life aflame and start a new one from away from Majestic.

"One gonna hold my memories another gonna close the door
One gonna leave me restless another wanting more"

Tonight we get to see the first episode of this new season of Weeds. With Michelle starting her new teaching job, me working late and both of us in the process of moving into our new place, we are looking forward to sitting back, relaxing together and watching the further adventures of Nancy and her crazy family.
