sing it loud, to me

I remembering living in New Orleans, having been a fan of Parachutes, waiting for Coldplay's second album A Rush of Blood to the Head to be released. I was working at Tower Records in the French Quarter and at the time I recieved a sampler from EMI with a two minute snippet of In My Place. I must have played that except over and over again.

In My Place was the reflection of the feeling I had living in a city that finally felt like home. I would crank that sample up and sing it loud. Tonight watching this video thinking back of my day and that moment back in New Orleans, it's starting to sink in that I have a new place to call home.

I'm ready for my new place.
