Although his guitar style is legendary, I was never a fan of Johnny Marr's singing voice, especially when he was the lead singer with the Healers. That is until I found this very unique rendition of Bob Dylan's Don't Think Twice It's All Right. It works for me. You can tell from his voice that Marr so connects with Dylan's words. I love the harmonica at the end. Maybe not the best but one of the most original Dylan cover versions featuring a former member of The Smiths.

I'm drawn to Dylan covers like a pain to an ass. As pains go this ain't bad but.....in the end?
On the other hand, some of us prefer the cover versions. I quite like the wistfulness of this, though (just to completely be a hypocrite) this is one of the songs that Bob does really well.
Oh sure John, have your cake n eat it too. You oughtta be in politics. lol
My campaign slogan: You can have cake tomorrow after I have some of it today.
I heard this in a supermarket of all places and have been wondering who was the artist responsible - my favourite Dylan song, but I always preferred the Davy Graham version.
Can I have some cake too, please?
