I just saw a scene from an up and coming film Powder Blue with Jessica Biel. She stars as an exotic dancer who peforms to Werewolf by Cat Power. Werewolf is a unique choice for a song to strip to. The scene in question can be found online. It is powerful and distrurbing. I saw it as Biel's character taking a stand with her sensuality from the chaos in her life on the stage. As her routine continues you witness as she punishes herself with scars dripping of sins that come to life through the voice of Cat Power.

Have not heard this song in awhile -- are there progressive rock strip joints in LA that would play this?
I'm not sure but this song was used in the scene in question. It's a unique song choice. Because it's more sensual in nature. It says a lot about the dancer. More than a routine.
