I hate to admit I never was a fan of Ryan's original version of New York, New York when it first came out. But I do think this live acoustic version is my favorite and better than the original. I've always said strip down any great song to the basics and you will find out if it's worthy of greatness status. Go ahead try it...

Such a gorgeous rendition of the song...I love it stripped down like this. Though, to be honest, I love the rockin' album opener of its original self, too.
