In case you have noticed I've been going to the past lately, moments I haven't thought about in ages. This is relatively new for me. I used to hide from my past. I never liked looking at the mirror. I used to be afraid of who I saw. Last night I looked and I saw my legacy. I truly look my my father and mis hermanos. There was a time that a revelation like that would scare me. I used to keep my family distant as if I was in some way afraid of what I'd see from their reflection. Not any more. This is huge for me. For the first time, there is no shame or regrets, I'm proud of who I see, where I've been and who I've become. All of those moments and missteps have made me who I am today.

oddly enuff, i've been experiencing the same thing! wandering down memory lane and describing my childhood haunts to my bff. both things i never used to do. what's going on? are the planets moving into the same alignment they reached 20 years ago or some other zany explanation?
