So you probably know that tracks from the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album It's Bliz have leaked online. I may be in the minority but I am not liking the electronic direction, soundwise, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are experimenting with. Songs like Zero aren't doing it for me. I long for the days of "Maps" and even "Down Boy."
I would love for Karen O to make a stripped down acoustic record. On the delxue edition of It's Blitz there's a bonus track, this acoustic version of Hysteric that is so divine. I so love Karen's voice. I feel like the band is doing her no favors by surrounding her vocals with these played out electro rhythms.
So turn down the keyboards and bring in some more acoustics!

i love this song so much and love the acoustic version!!!
well too bad, coz i LOVE IT!! i think every song sounds amazing and i love the electro sound throughout. "Hysteric" is sweet, glad they took the time to record it. (the recording quality on this album is super hi-fidelity and K.O's voice sounds better than ever because of it!)
i bet the next thing we hear from these 3 is completely different than It's Blitz, so don't fret! they're probably just experimenting with various things that make them happy.
