I’m back from the show! (see below)
I’ll start by saying that the girls in this band are the powerhouses behind the music. Their live show was awesome, with the girls switching up instruments, between keyboards, drums, vocals, flute, tamborine, and bass. WOW ! I LOVE bands that do that… (see broken social scene). Round sounding girl vocals yummy, super hard drum beats played by my girl Sandra, also yummy. Check ‘em out… specifically check out “Strange Design,” I love that song…
But there is a negative side to this post, which btw, is CORRECTABLE … the guitarist apparently wanted to be the star of the show and had his amps turned up WAY too loud… to the point of not being able to hear any other instruments… WHAAA ??? Yeah, uhm… simmer down guy, our ears are about to fall off.
All in all, it was a good set… I’m glad I went and I remember why I’m in love with (asian!) chick drummers now.

Ya know another great band with a hot chick drummer is the Boredoms
Saw them at a small club waay back in '91 and 'twas one of the funnest shows ever. Yamatsuka is ever the entertainer. None of the crowd knew what to do though. They tried to mosh but would inevitably stop and just stare.
