Female Vocalists

Hello! So... I used to say that I didn't like female vocalists. As of late, I've proved myself wrong. I have this new strange obsession with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Metric and and Le Tigre and Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins and The Rentals among others. And while their music doesn't have all that much in common, all these bands have female vocalists. And that's when I discovered why I was digging Giant Drag so much! They're busting up on the music scene which is totally awesome. And all good girls - not good girls, but responsible females who are proud of their gender - should check out this band and support Annie, YEAH! Her sweet little voice and guitar riffs are just such a contrast to her cutting lyrics, it makes for a great combination. Also, to plug Micah, it's most definitely worth seeing Giant Drag live to hear him on the drums. Wow. Thank you.See also www.giantdrag.com

    lisbetho says I noticed Daniel has an affinity for bands with female singers (ie tilly and the wall, camera obscura, elastica, ETC). i mentioned it to him and i think he kind of diffused it's degree, but he really does! i think he just likes hot ladies. Anyway is this sandra the one in that picture of you at disneyland picking your noses?
