LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - ZZ Top, Evanescence and Velvet Revolver are among the acts scheduled to play the inaugural Rock on the Range festival, set for May 19 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Also booked to appear are Hinder, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Puddle Of Mudd, the Operator and Black Stone Cherry.

My Trusted MOGs
I love ZZ Top and saw them last year in Trenton, NJ. Although they put on a great show, they focus mainly on their 80s hits, and so have become somewhat of an oldies band, even though they continue to issue great music (which I think is better than the 80s stuff). This makes total marketing sense - it's what most people want to hear, just not me so much.

I think I will pass...I don't mind Velvet Revolver....but i really don't like the other bands...plus when i am in CA for Coachella I may just stay out there...3 days in a row of sunshine may be too good and I may never leave!!
