A man sits alone in a bus shelter. He doesn’t care if a bus comes or goes. He just sits and stares with a blank look on his face, his pain so intense that its only now very self evident in his looks and his posture. His unshaven face and eyes–eyes that are red from too much crying because the pain is branded deep into his soul. He has truly lost everything dear to him. His beloved has left him, telling him with to get lost—and get a life! His friends have all moved away from him both physically and emotionally. His family has ostracized him, they will not come to see him; to see how well he is; to offer some emotional support. He has lost his job and now wanders the city, seeing only gray faces attached to people with gray, humdrum lives. The nights are the worse. Then his reality comes crashing in on restful sleep. He curls up in a fetal position in bed and cries uncontrollably.

My Trusted MOGs
I have never heard Art Pepper play before your post. I must say he's made quite an impression for a first listening.
