Known as “O Christmas Tree” in an English translation, this German Christmas carol may seem out of place except that it’s been sung by choirs and played by symphony orchestras until the carol itself has become a staple of seasonal programs for eons. No words are heard, just a warm fuzz of children’s voices in a welcome vocalise.
