For fifty years, Bing Crosby had been before audiences around the world bringing his laid back vocals and personal to millions. There was never a more beloved star especially at Christmas when his tv specials became as much of a yearly ritual as Perry Como's equally famous programs at Yuletide. This particular performance comes from his last performances in England in September 1977, one month before his death on a golf course in Spain. The performance has much of the old charm inspite of Bing's weak voice--there's more than enough left and as a surpsie to the audience, he sang an extended encore of his songs for a half hour! Peter Moore gives Bing ample support and, varying his interpretation from Vikki's, he sings the song in Spanish and English! How we all miss seeing you at Christmas, Bing!
