Henry Mancini Plays "Joanna"

In a later episode, Peter Gunn meets a tragic woman, Joanna, a gun moll whose life is cut tragically short. Her lovely eyes and blond hair are transferred into a thing of beauty for solo trombone and a very sparse background.

    musikfriend says mollifire; Thanks for the compliment! Mancini used this in a concert medley of his early 60's tunes entitled "Peter Gunn Meets Mr. Lucky." "Joanna" is pretty much my favorite from both albums. A real smoothie! Again, thanks for the compliment! Yours truly, musikfriend
