Rosemary Clooney: "Angry"

Posted almost 4 years ago
Composer/pianist Dudley Mecum wrote the song “Angry” in 1925 with his friends Jules Cassard, Henry Brunies and Merritt Brunies. For this performance, Clooney sings very teasingly while Riddle’s arrangement includes a soft shoe drum solo by Alvin Stoller who had played a similar role with Fred Astaire on his second tv special “Another Evening With Fred Astaire.” Where could we ever see something like this today?
