Billy Butterfield Plays “Stormy Weather”

One of composer Harold Arlen's most famous songs is "Stormy Weather" which he wrote in 1934 with Ted Koehler for their stage musical "Cotton Club Revue." Listen for the solo work of Billy Butterfield and tenor saxist Bob Levine. The atmosphere is steamy and languidly luscious, just right before a moisture laden storm.
