Just so you know this is a semi-long blog about our trip to ....Iowa City.... to see mewithoutYou read if you care. If not I'll be happy I have documentation of my trip. Thanks. So Sunday night was probably the best show I have been to. I finally got to see mewithoutYou. And it was amazing. And it was just a good day all around. Last Friday my brother and I made the pilgrimage from our _very_ uncool suburb and headed out the The Hawthorne Theater in Portland's most hipsterish district to catch mewithoutYou and friends for an evening of above average screamo. After a week of waiting eagerly and impatiently, I got my new mewithoutYou CD and t-shirt. They are both beautiful. Now only 25 days until they play at Emo's! Yesterday I went to Cheapo's and picked up a few necessary items. i went and saw mewithoutYou about a month ago. it was a good show, and even though it was a while ago, i didn’t have this mog journal to write about it. my roommate took me to the show for my birthday present (good job matt!) so i got to see them for free. when we got there we found out that the main act, say anything, cancelled, so mewithoutYou got to play a whole hour. we were so stoked because we love mewithoutYou and say anything sucks. my friend brian got to hang...
