'Tis the season to be jolly right? Not according to Ghostface. The Wu-Tang member co-signed his group mate Raekwon by publicly distancing himself from the new Wu-Tang album 8 Diagrams. Raekwon didn't like the more worldly instrumental direction RZA took while producing the new LP, and Ghostface agrees.

I've been slowly collecting youTube audio and the occasional free download of the new Ghostface Killah album, but today I finally got to hear the whole thing on Def Jam's Ghostface page. The album is called The Big Doe Rehab and it officially drops on December 4th, but as of now you can listen to the entire album as streaming audio. I must say, I'm digging what I've heard so far. While on the road with the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface took a few moments out of his day to record a video to his fans. Unlike the usual "I love you guys for all of the support", Ghostface lashes out at fans who illegally download his work. He pointed out the fact that he has over 100,000 Myspace friends, yet his first week album sales were below that 100,000 copies mark.

The new video for Ghostface Killah's "Toney Sigel A.K.A. The Barrel Brothers" from his brand new album, The Big Doe Rehab featuring Beanie Sigel dropped today. It's directed by Rik Cordero, but that may or may not be a good thing. I like the lo-fi ambiance. It kinda reminds me of the first time I saw Naughty By Nature's "O.P.P." on the tellie.

Ghostface Killah of the Wu Tang Clan will be headlining the hip hop portion of Adult Swims nationwide college tour. Joining Ghost on the road will be Witchdoctor of The Dungeon Family. Witchdoctor will release his new album, Diary of an American Witchdoctor, on October 23 through Adult Swim’s Williams Street record label. Ghostface recorded a message for the fans online to announce the release date on his new album The Big Dough Rehab. The disc will be available December 4th, which is also the same day Wu-Tang releases 8 Diagrams. You can't really call this a competition, being that Ghostface is IN the Wu-Tang Clan. Either way, it'll be a good day for his bank account.
