All Music GuideThis delightful and solidly swinging club date was first released on this 1995 CD. The great tenor Zoot Sims is assisted by pianist Kenny Drew, bassist Niels Pedersen and drummer Ed Thigpen; the music is as enjoyable as one would expect. Sims, who switches to soprano on "The Very Thought of You," never seems to have played an uninspired chorus. Highlights include "Groovin' High," "All the Things You Are" and "It's All Right With Me." Recommended.
