All Music GuideOn his third album, Young MC was trying to recapture his audience, adding elements of jazz-rap -- thanks to the production of A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed -- to his pop-oriented style. While it didn't rocket him back to the top of the charts, the results were agreeable and likeable, with only a couple of embarrassing tracks.
