Soooo, when I picked up Gnarls Barkley, I also picked up Yael Naim. She has that song New Soul that's featured on a commercial. I can't remember which one. I love the songs that are in English. I was gonna wait to write about it......but as I was scanning the tracks, I saw a song called Toxic. Wait a minute...no it can't be...Tell me what you think...:)... MORE

Yael Naim was born in Paris to Jewish-Tunisian parents. At age four, she moved with her family to Ramat HaSharon, Israel, where she served in the Israel Defence Force and sang solo in the Israel Air Force Orchestra. Naim sings in English, French and Hebrew. She learned to play the piano at a young age. Is it bad that I've been finding more new music through television commercials than anywhere else? (No offense, MOG . I've been slack in visiting the site. Mostly because I've been watching so much crap TV.) Anyway! I come to you with yet another artist found via a commercial, this time through Apple. Her name is Yael Naïm, and the song is entitled New Soul. Quite catchy if you ask me, and she has a beautiful voice. I'll have to go in search of more of her music ... MORE
