The All Good Festival from West Virginia is being streamed right now.
Listening to Widespread Panic play with Derek trucks. Really cool that they are playing this live and you can listen at home. Technology is truly amazing.
Panic started at 10p EST and a band called The Bridge is going on at 1:15a EST with Dark Star Orchestra going on at 2a.
Will be a fun night.
Rock on!

Originally done by Jerry Joseph & Glenn Esparza, "Climb To Safety" has become a staple cover song for Widespread Panic. Lucky for me, I got to see them perform it this past Sunday in Richmond. My 10th Panic show; and oddly enough, my 5th time getting "Climb To Safety" in the setlist. They must love playing it as much as I love hearing it. When those keys chime in the beginning, the hair raises on my arms. Beyond the music, the lyrics hold special resonance for me...on... MORE
Anyone have one of those weeks where so many good things happen...
and you look at the schedule for the weekend and go,
"holy shit, there's a lot more of awesomeness this weekend"
but you feel completely burned out?
Widespread just got added to Bonnaroo and I'm pretty psyched.
Hi. I'm new to MOG. Just trying to get the hang of things. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx,

While _Ball_ is seldom listed as a Panic fan's favorite album, it definitely has some quality tracks on it. "Tortured Artist" is one of those songs that I can listen to and then immediately listen to again. Love everything about it. ~Feelin' ticklishjust met a new girlshe's got a tattoosaid she remembers youOh, one day waitin' out the rain She embroidered the portrait of a tortured artist on your sleeve Laugh at your own jokes, oh wouldn't dare laugh at yourselfWh... Here is Panic's new single "Up All Night". Fans can download it for free on their website, or wait until the new album comes out (Spring 2008). I have been a long time Panic fan and now that Jimmy Herring is a part of the band i cannot wait to hear it. Jimmy is by far the best guitarist for the band since Mikey. Enjoy and hope to see everyone out at New Years!
Well I am off in T minus four hours for a little weekend gettaway. The trees here in good old colorado are peeking, and their gorgeous colors will lead the way to Fort Collins. It's Panic's fall tour, and I am very excited. It will be the first time in my 20 plus times in seeing the band in an indoor venue, the Budwiser Events Center. It is going to be very strange. I like my Panic loud and outside, so we'll see what the weekend holds.
~peace and music.
PLEASE STOP BREAKIN' DOWN! ~Widespread Panic covering Robert Johnson's "Stop Breakin' Down Blues" (featuring Luther Dickinson from North Mississippi Allstars)~ My concert budget is getting bombed out and depleted! Last Monday, I had to shell out $200+ for the Kia (spark plugs, diagnostics, and a little extra for that thing they broke off inside of me at the dealership). Then Sunday, I go to charge my cell phone and realize the whole damn charging port has ripped... MORE
If you live in the Northeast, you've been experiencing a real breath of fresh air. The temperature broke 40 - went over 70 in fact and it seems like summer may be here.
So I had the windows down and the sunroof open and needed the right song to play. Now, this is a tough decision - you want something that you'll feel cool having pump out of your windows and something that really captures the spring/summer feeling.
My pick? "Coconut". Not the most original, but it makes... MORE

Widespread PanicLandmark Theater in Richmond, VAApril 3, 2007, 7:30 PMTicket Price: $45 Going to see Widespread Panic gives me a sort of giddy excitement that only a few other bands can top. Now that they have guitarist Jimmy Herring in the mix, the energy is insane. They nearly blew the roof off the Landmark Theater in the second set. I will say, though, that I prefer the Pan-Pan in outdoor venues. There are six guys on stage, and that's a lot of sound to be contai... MORE
Well I got the free show last night...always a plus...I have always been hit or miss with the Panic...I mean they are always good just at times not subtle enough for my tastes....in addition I do not have the lyrics in my head/heart like many a Panic fans...that being said...I loved the show...Jimmy Herring fits really well with the band...in fact this was one of the better Panic shows I've seen. PS They played "Coconuts" that really got the crowd going!!!! Sorry no p... MORE
