I just got back from watching Italia beat Francia 2-0 in a Euro 2008 match. When I was in Roma, I fell for the game they call futbol. White Stripes, one thump out, hopefully many more to come.
The MP3 of "Icky Thump," the first single from the White Stripes album also named "Icky Thump". The track is taken from an XFM session, the sound quality is pretty good. It's got some annoying DJ chatter but at least we get to hear it.

The White Stripes revealed the titles of the 13 songs that will appear on their upcoming album, Icky Thump, which will be released in June; the album will be the group’s first for Warner Bros. Who remembers when Icky Thump (album) was leaking and a song here and there would pop out....but, Web Sheriff would have it knocked down immediately? I heard the new White Stripe's song Icky Thump the other day and was surprised to find that I like it! I'm not a fan of their other songs like Doorbell and or Seven Nation Army but this song really caught my attention! Partly because there's bagpipes on it! Well I read it's actually a keyboard effect (boo!) rather than bagpipes...but I did read that Jack was wanting to feature bagpipes on the album. I think it's about time someone used the bagpipes in a "cool" way inst... MORE

So I haven't been on here in a while. My hard drive died a while ago. At any rate I'm back with my music collection rebuilt from various locations. Expect more random crap from me.
