All Music GuideThe second of the tiny VGM label's two Wes Montgomery LPs picks up where the first one left off, with a pair of performances (an unknown original "Starlight" and an incomplete version of "'Round Midnight") from a live date in 1961. In addition this LP is filled out by two numbers from a 1968 TV appearance and a pair of lengthy interviews that actually take up more than half of the record. This interesting but not really essential set is strictly for Wes Montgomery's greatest fans.
