Went down to Detroit to see Weird Al in concert last night. He was performing at what used to be known as Taste Of Detroit, now it’s called the Comerica CityFest. Kind of depressing, but what you gonna do about? However I’m still angry that the State Theater has recently been re-titled the Fillmore (thanks Clear Channel, you bastards!). Weird Al Yankovic. The man is a comedic and musical genius. I have never been apologetic about my love for Weird Al. I own every single one of his albums, and have seen him four times in concert (five after this September!). Well, this weekend is a big event for us. I'm taking Nolan to see Weird Al at the Yakima County Fair. Seems like a little small scale of a place for him to play, but I'm not complaining! We're both looking forward to it. I'll report back, with pictures - of course. We took the reserved seating route, even though we could have gotten in for just the price of our fair entry.
