All Music GuideWarrior Soul's fourth album Chill Pill had a few good moments, like the single "Shock Um Down," but it's too similar to their first three albums to make much an impact to anyone outside of dedicated hair-metal fans. Nevetheless, the best moments -- like the group's technically ambitious guitar leads and topical lyrics -- confirm that Warrior Soul is an individual band within their genre.
