Portland's scene king and queen, Keith and Anita Robinson of Viva Voce will be releasing a new album called Rose City on May 26th. Saw them play at the Warfield in SF the a few weeks ago. They opened with their "We do not fuck around" intro which was hilarious because I think half of the people their had no idea what was going on. I have their CD now and have been putting it on right before I catch some ZzZ's and it just gets better each time I listen to it. Especially after witnessing first hand anita's hard hitting guita...

Although I enjoyed Viva Voce's Get Yr Blood Sucked Out so much that it made my top albums of 2006 list, I had not seen them live until last night. Blew. Me. Away.
