Alright. just to start off on a good note. the kind of note where you say "ok, i am going to take this seriously and post at least 3 times a week... at least..." so i was just kind of shuffling songs around, and i came across this old one by Veruca Salt. now, i know some people love' em, some people don't, and i've gone back and forth a few times - but i can't help it - i love this song. it's not in my top whatever list, but when i hear it - it brings back good memor... Next time your 14 year old niece attempts to persuade you that today's female rockers currently polluting the airwaves are superior to the ones you may have grown up listening to, show them this clip.

Ok, so it was earlier this month that I received a mix of grand proportions... a mix from a girl I swear is my long lost sister (if I had one) so we must have been in a past life (as she would say)!! Now - if you know anything about me - you know I really have to stew with an album to really give it its proper listens - then I can make my final determination. Sure I can hear an album & think - yeah - this one probably won't grow on me, or this album rocks... but after 9... MORE

I dated myself once again tonight(oh man that looks really bad in text! I MEAN I showed my age once again)....anyway, while looking for this video i just used seether in the search field...apparently there is a band called Seether...and judging by the number of videos, they seem to be pretty popular! For once, someone from a cool band asked me to be their myspace friend. It's Veruca Salt, they're touring (post-Nina) and I'm feeling it. Blonde or brunette, I've always preferred Louise.
Got me a pair of tickets to their Cafe Du Nord show on Oct. 23. Maybe see them in your town?
And here's someone's arm. I'm too chicken to get a tattoo. If I did, it would probably be of our schnauzer.

I turned 12 years old in 1992, placing my prime pubescent years squarely in the pre-millenial alterna-rock wheelhouse.
