Van Dyke Parks's Biography
Van Dyke Parks (born January 3, 1943) is an American composer, arranger, producer, musician, singer and actor perhaps most easily remembered for his collaborations with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys on the cult-legend album, Smile (including the song "Heroes and Villains"). In addition to this, Parks has created his own distinct musical legacy and influence through his own albums, and his less visible work for other artists and behind the scenes in the music industry.
