Rawkkiddoh gets another one! It was indeed Two Ton Boa, with "Comin' Up From Behind". I only just discovered this band, and I am thoroughly impressed. Two basses, drums, keyboards and vocals. No guitar. A sparse, dry, bass-driven sound which I think of as "Goth carnival." The vocals, especially in this song, are delivered archly, with occasional venom.
