Trey Anastasio, former leader of the band Phish, has a new album out. When I first learned he was coming out with a new album, I wasn't holding my breath that it would be good. He solo work hasn't inspired me very much (except his very early solo material while Phish was still together).

The album, recorded at Anastasio's Vermont barn with producer Bryce Goggin, will delve back into Anastasio's Afro-Cuban compositions. (Thank God because his last album Bar 17 royally "el sucko-ed.") This new album is sure to be more of a rocker with "five-part horn arrangements, tight breaks, multiple percussionists, and of course, Anastasio's soulful, nimble guitar work," acco... MORE
